I recently discovered this gem of an eatery, and I must say, I was blown away by the authentic flavors! As someone who has dined at many Shanghainese restaurants, I can confidently say that the dumplings here are among the best I've ever had. The pork and chive dumplings were heavenly, with a perfectly tender skin that held together a flavorful filling. The dipping sauce they served alongside it elevated the experience even further! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal or a small gathering with friends. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive; they made sure our glasses were never empty! One small constructive note would be that they could improve on the variety of appetizers. While the dumplings are the stars of the menu, a few more options would be great to complement the meal. Overall, I left feeling satisfied and with a happy heart. I can't wait to go back and try their other offerings, especially the scallion pancakes that I saw being served to another table. I had an amazing experience at this lovely little restaurant! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and a cozy atmosphere. The menu features a variety of dumplings, and I couldn’t resist trying the shrimp and pork ones. They were delicious—plump, juicy, and bursting with flavor! I also appreciated the freshness of the ingredients. While I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, the overall service could have been a tad quicker, as it took a little longer than expected for our orders to arrive, especially during the dinner rush. Nevertheless, the wait was totally worth it! The staff was really friendly and made sure we were comfortable throughout our meal. If you're craving some authentic dumplings and a laid-back dining experience, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I will definitely be returning soon to explore more of what they have to offer!
